Who will be driving your children?
GoEasy rides are served by drivers who use their vehicles. Every driver undergoes a meticulous background check and has a minimum of two years of experience in childcare. Whether they've been parents, teachers, nannies, nurses, counselors, babysitters, daycare workers, or rideshare drivers with experience working with kids, they're seasoned in making rides fun and safe for children.
They know how to keep your children engaged and comfortable while maintaining appropriate conversations.
What is your process for selecting drivers?
We prioritize safety when vetting drivers. We select responsible, patient, and safety-conscious individuals with a clean driving record, experience working with children, and a solid commitment to ensuring their safety. Drivers must undergo comprehensive background checks, including a review of their criminal history and driving records, and may be certified in First Aid and CPR. A well-maintained vehicle with the appropriate child safety seats and knowledge of local routes is essential. These drivers are dependable individuals who communicate effectively with children and maintain a safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation environment.
Drivers undergo training and evaluation, collect signage, and video cameras in person before they can serve any ride.

Is your service like Uber and will a random driver pick up your child everytime?
The GoEasy service is different from Uber; it's designed to service children exclusively. All rides are prescheduled, with a minimum advance notice of 2 hours to 3 months. The driver and vehicle are confirmed as soon as the driver accepts your ride.
Will the same driver pick up my child every day?
We can’t guarantee that the same driver will accept your rides each time. We serve a diverse community of parents, schools, activity providers, child therapy centers, special education centers, and more, receiving various ride requests each day.
Our system matches rides to drivers a few days in advance and immediately for last-minute rides based on their location, proximity, availability, and familiarity with the rider. Drivers can choose to accept your rides based on their preferences and availability. We want your rides to be covered; hence, they are matched with other drivers if the driver with matching criteria doesn’t claim them within the given time.
What is your car seat/booster policy?
While completing the child’s profile, parents indicate a booster seat requirement. Drivers carry two booster seats in their cars and use them during the ride if necessary. Drivers follow the regulations set by the jurisdiction they are servicing.
Can I request not to share my child's ride?
Rides are private by default, but parents can opt to share with other families and save up to 30%. We believe that affordable, recurring rides help parents and reduce the number of cars on the road, so we offer shared ride options whenever possible.
How are rides priced?
Ride pricing is determined by distance and travel time. Use our pricing estimator https://www.goeasy.kids/pricing to get an instant quote for a single, one-time ride. How does it work?
Parents, schools, and organizations can sign up at www.goEasy.kids to add children and request single or multiple rides. After a ride is posted, matched drivers are notified and can accept the route. As soon as a driver accepts, the organizer receives an instant confirmation via text and email with driver and vehicle details. A final confirmation, including a live tracking link, is sent at 7:00 pm the night before each ride. Throughout the ride, organizers receive real-time notifications for pick-up and drop-off. Do we get to see the live location of the vehicle?
Every driver’s vehicle is equipped with dual dashcams, capturing both the cabin and the street for live ride streaming and real-time vehicle location. Ride organizers can monitor the trip anytime using the safety link provided in the confirmation email and on their dashboard.
Can my child be dropped off at a different location other than provided in the ride schedule?
Rides can be edited any time up to two hours before pick-up. Updates will be confirmed once the assigned driver reviews and accepts the new time or location.
Will I get the driver's contact number?
We do not share drivers’ contact numbers with parents to prevent distractions while driving. For any questions or concerns, please reach out to our goEasy support team, who actively monitor every ride to ensure safe pickups and drop-offs for every child.
Are the drivers trained for medical aid for the children?
Our drivers are required to have prior experience working with children. If a rider requires medical assistance during transport, we match drivers who have completed specialized medical training with those needs.
Are the drivers trained by CPSTI to put on car seat/booster correctly?
We take rider safety very seriously. All our drivers must complete the jurisdiction-required training as well as the NSC Defensive Driving course before providing rides.
Can I request a ride with a pick-up time after 10:00 pm for my child?
A ride can be requested at any time, and confirmation occurs when a verified driver accepts the ride.

We’re growing as more drivers join our network. To secure a ride, simply create your request—we get it to a driver and confirm each one as quickly as possible.
How does the cancellation of rides work?
You can cancel your ride at any time on our platform. There’s no fee for cancellations made before the cut-off—12 hours before pick-up. If canceled between 12 hours and 2 hours before pick-up, a fixed cancellation fee applies. Rides canceled within 2 hours of pick-up are charged in full.
How do I know if my rides are confirmed?
After you request your rides, they are matched to drivers at least a few days in advance of the scheduled pick-up time. As soon as a driver accepts, you will receive an instant confirmation via text and email with the driver's and vehicle's details. A final confirmation, including a live tracking link, is sent at 7:00 pm the night before each ride.
When and how do I pay for the service?
You’ll receive a single invoice for all rides serviced during the week, sent at the end of the week. Immediate payment is required to confirm future ride bookings. You can pay by debit card, credit card, or Zelle—payment instructions are included with your invoice.
What will happen if my child leaves something in the vehicle?
After each ride, drivers inspect their vehicles and report any items found to goEasy. Our team then notifies parents about any lost belongings and coordinates convenient pickup arrangements for their return
Do you service children with special needs?
Yes, we provide rides for children with special needs. Drivers are matched according to their qualifications for these rides. To ensure a safe and comfortable experience, please include detailed pick-up and drop-off instructions and specify your child’s needs in the rider profile and rider notes.
Does the driver walk the child into school or activities, and sign them out?
GoEasy drivers can escort your child into school or activities for drop-off and sign them out at pick-up, if requested. To use this service, select the escorted pick-up and drop-off options when booking and provide detailed pick-up and drop-off instructions
My child’s school has multiple entrances for pick-up and drop-off; how will the driver know where to pick up from or drop off?
When booking a ride, organizers can add pick-up and drop-off instructions, as well as location drawings. These details help our drivers quickly and securely find your child. Including specific waiting spots or unique instructions ensures drivers meet your child at the correct location, minimizing unnecessary wait times at each stop.
What happens to the other children in the vehicle if the driver must walk into a building?
The goEasy operations team considers all aspects of the ride and riders and assigns the drivers. The driver will not leave a rider under 12 unattended in the vehicle at any time and is instructed to take them along.
How does the driver safely manage multiple children in busy parking lots?
The goEasy operations team considers all aspects of rides and riders, creates routes, and assigns drivers accordingly. When picking up multiple children, we work with the school and activities to create a single pick-up point.
My children’s school may require more information about the pick-up and drop-off process.
The safety of riders is our top priority. You can add a school or activity provider as an alternate contact and opt for them to receive notifications about drivers and vehicles. If requested, goEasy drivers can verify themselves at the pickup location by following specific instructions provided during ride booking.
How do I know if my child’s school/activity provider is a goEasy partner and will receive a discount?
If your child’s pick-up or drop-off location is a partner school or activity provider, a discount will be automatically applied and clearly shown as a line item before the final price when you book the ride.
